Assignment: Create a detailed food map that depicts a total breakdown of a selected food item. The map should identify the many types of energy invested into making the food item, should include processes such as recycling and composting, and feature any other social, political, or environmental information pertaining to the item.


What I Created: My Food Map depicts a detailed breakdown of a McDonald’s Happy Meal. I made my made graphically interesting and organised by utilising different colours to signify the path of certain ingredients. My map was constructed in different “layers,” so as to prevent confusion or visual overlap of information.
